With the Writage extension for MS Word, you can paste markdown into a Word document and it appears with formatting, not as markdown. Open docx file and copy text and paste to destination file.

I do use the ones that come from the Jetbrains suite (PHPStorm, WebStorm, Intellij. Typora is very light weight and full of features likes of which iA writer don’t support yet Like.
Thoughts on the topic? Editors, plugins, or anything else that is cool for Markdown. So Ive been writing Markdown for years but never thought of using an official editor. So list your editor, or if you just stick to raw. Filter by these if you want a narrower list of alternatives or looking for a specific functionality of WriteMonkey. WriteMonkey alternatives are mainly Text Editors but may also be Note-taking Tools or Novel Authoring Tools. I do miss my VI/M shortcuts (wanna learn vim? checkout Marc's post on it, there are 9 parts!, they are amazing!) in it but I guess I can live without them for the benefit of seeing both my raw markdown along with the UI version. Other great apps like WriteMonkey are Typora, Manuskript, FocusWriter and ghostwriter.
